In pursuit of its mission and in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), The Chicago School is committed to providing all students with equal access to academic courses, programs, and school activities.

A student seeking accommodation for a disability should reach out to the Office for Student Accessibility with all accommodations request. The Office for Student Accessibility team can be reached at [email protected]The student must provide a completed Accessibility Accommodations Form (located below), plus materials from a healthcare provider who has the credentials to diagnose and treat the condition explaining and documenting the disability, the prognosis, the barriers the student faces given the disability, and suggestions for accommodations that are designed to overcome the barriers without imposing an undue burden on the school and/or fundamentally altering the nature of the service, program, or activity at issue. Once accommodations are put in place, we encourage students to review our document on "How to Make the Most of Your Accommodations."

Accommodations are not retroactive and do not begin until the student has gone through the interactive request process with the Office for Student Accessibility.
