The Veronica Grace Thorson Scholarship Fund

Named for Veronica Thorson, a Master of Arts student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at The Chicago School's San Diego campus. Veronica was a lifelong learner, seeking to make an impact in mental health, recovery and advocacy. She was a beloved member of the TCSPP family and will be greatly missed.

In memory of Veronica's passion for mental health and helping others, Veronica's family established a student tuition scholarship fund to support currently enrolled students who are in financial need to earn their degree. This fund is dedicated to providing scholarships for San Diego Campus students by the family of a former student who passed away after a decades long struggle with anorexia nervosa.

Students who qualify may apply for monetary support to the fund through an application process, which includes an essay sharing what they would do to honor her legacy to further their education.
