The Chicago School is committed to fostering an inclusive academic environment where all students have equitable access to learning. If you’re navigating a disability, health condition, or symptom profile that presents barriers to your academic experience, the Office for Student Accessibility is available to help you explore accommodation options.

To begin the process, students should complete the Accessibility Accommodations Form (linked below) and provide documentation from a qualified healthcare provider. This documentation should describe how your condition or symptoms affect your ability to participate in academic activities, include the anticipated duration or prognosis, identify potential barriers, and recommend accommodations that would help address those barriers. You don’t need to share a formal diagnosis—just enough information to help us understand the impact, duration, and support needs so we can determine how best to support your access to courses, programs, and activities.

You’re welcome to reach out to our office at [email protected] with questions or to get started. Once accommodations are approved, we encourage students to review our How to Make the Most of Your Accommodations guide. Keep in mind that accommodations are not retroactive and begin only after the request process is complete.

For accommodation needs related to pregnancy or related conditions, please refer to the Title IX Pregnancy and Related Conditions page.
