Across the upcoming year, The Chicago School will engage in a collaborative process to develop its next strategic plan, which will guide the university's growth from 2025 to 2030. This new plan will align with strategic goals across the colleges and across The Community Solution Education System and will help our community move closer to achieving our shared vision of using educational opportunity to increase access to expert, culturally competent, integrated care for individuals, organizations, and communities.

Timeline to Our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan

Recent Highlights and Progress Updates

After receiving input on the strategic plan between October 2024 and January 2025, the Strategic Plan Steering Committee has created a 2030 Strategic Vision document. The Strategic Vision includes four high-level focus areas as well as several objectives within each focus area. Through March, the Steering Committee will be gathering feedback on this vision document from groups from across the university community, including:

  • Academic Affairs Leadership Council
  • National Faculty Council and the College Faculty Councils
  • Operations Leadership Council
  • Diversity Action Board
  • Campus Operations Leadership
  • Executive Cabinet
  • Board of Trustees

In addition:

  • All faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend an open discussion about the 2030 Strategic Vision, which you can register for here.
  • Similarly, all are welcome and encouraged to provide asynchronous feedback about the vision. You can submit your thoughts here through Friday, March 14, 2025.
