2018 I/O Task Force

I'm originally from Memphis, Tennessee.  I moved to Chicago in June 2015 to work in supply chain management for Quaker Oats at PepsiCo.  I currently work as a sales advisor at Warby Parker.  I'm fluent in Spanish, and I love traveling!   I'm extremely passionate about mental health advocacy and de-stigmatization.  I volunteer for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) with their Ending the Silence program where we go to Chicago public high schools to promote mental health awareness.  My I/O Psychology interest areas are employee engagement, employee well-being, leadership development, training, organizational health, company culture, and diversity and inclusion.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Chicago in February 2017 to attend graduate school at TCS. My areas of interest in I/O are Leadership Training and Organizational Development. I am passionate about creating spaces for excellence in leadership and organizational success. My goals for the I/O Task Force are to bring out unity and engagement in the student body and provide support for the Business Psychology students. I enjoy cooking and dancing as hobbies and would love to travel more.

I am originally from the Bay Area, CA and a graduate of San Francisco State University where I majored in Psychology and minored in Recreation with an emphasis in Conference and Event Planning. Before moving to Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood last summer, I was a recruiting coordinator at a tech company and am now working part-time as an HR intern at a financial organization. In my free time, I like to explore the awesome city of Chicago, try new restaurants, cook/bake, and hike. My interests within the field of I/O include employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, and globalization.

I am from Cincinnati Ohio and completed my bachelor's degree in Psychology at Northern Kentucky University. I have worked in several different industries such as Sales, Hospitality, Human Resources, and Retail. I am always networking and trying to find new ways to improve myself. Currently, I would like to pursue a career as a strategy consultant. I like building solutions to complex problems. As a member of the Task Force I want to help every student improve themselves as much as I can. I enjoy giving presentations and sharing my knowledge. Please feel free to speak to me anytime.
