Charles Kelley Jr., Director, has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a master’s degree in human development from National Louis University. He has over ten years of experience in higher education working as a Career Advisor.
Prior to his arrival at TCSPP, Charles served as a Youth Development Specialist and Career Specialist for Chicago Public Schools and worked with ex-offender youth as a Case Manager. He has six years of experience working in social services providing academic, career, and life skill development training. Charles is a member of the National Association of College and Employers (NACE) and the Chicago Career Professionals Network (CCPN).
Elke Hardt, Assistant Director for Career Services at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles campus. She received her B.A. in Psychology from La Sierra University (California) and began her counseling career at a residential treatment center for teenagers in Lincoln Heights, CA. She decided to combine her love of sport with her desire to continue in a helping profession, and pursued a M.Ed. degree at Springfield College (Massachusetts) in Counseling & Psychological Services with a specialization in Athletic Counseling. Originally from Montreal, Canada, Elke returned to her native land and opened a regional office of the Canadian Olympic Association’s Olympic Athlete Career Centre in Calgary. Providing transition counseling to national team athletes sparked an interest in career counseling, and when she returned to the U.S. Elke began her career in university career services, an environment she has enjoyed for 20+ years. She has also taught at several universities and community colleges, serving as adjunct faculty for Psychology and First Year Seminar courses. Elke is a proud mom of a daughter, who is in her 2nd year of college in Lugano, Switzerland, studying social justice and sustainability. Email: email@example.com
