The Office of Instutional Advancement has compiled a helpful database of external funding opportunities, and details about how to apply. Additionally, we have outlined some external funding opportunities that past Chicago School students have pursued below.

This information is provided as a service to students and does not guarantee the availability of scholarship funding. These scholarships are sponsored by outside agencies and are not affiliated with or endorsed by The Chicago School. The information provided is periodically updated and all scholarships were valid when posted. It is critical that students verify the scholarship information, particularly where deadlines are concerned. Please remember that applying for financial aid and scholarships is free and students do not have to pay anyone for a scholarship or scholarship information. LIVE IT UP WOMEN IN HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIP

IME BECAS 2023 AND ALTAMED FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

  • Open to current students of The Chicago School, Los Angeles Campus, who are Mexican nationals or persons of Mexican origin
  • One time scholarship for $5000 to support tuition at the Los Angeles campus.
  • Applicants are asked to choose 1 of the two methods to apply for this scholarship opportunity:
    • Write an essay, no longer than 1000 words máximum, about how their Mexican heritage informed their choice in graduate program.
      OR
    • Record a 1-2 minute video about how their Mexican heritage informed their choice in graduate program. Applicants must also provide verification that they are Mexican nationals or persons of Mexican origin, by providing a digital copy of one of the following documents: Mexican birth certificate, Mexican birth certificate of their parents, Mexican passport, Mexican Consular ID Card, Mexican elector’s identification (IFE or INE) - along with application for this scholarship.
  • Applications must be submitted electronically by 5 pm Pacific Time October 13, 2023
  • The Chicago School will award this scholarship by October 26, 2023.

HCAI ANNOUNCES TWO NEW BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS

Applications are currently closed. Please watch for upcoming deadlines. Below is a summary of each of the scholarships:

  • The Golden State Social Opportunities Program (GSSOP)
    GSSOP aims to increase the number of licensed behavioral health professionals providing direct patient care in California. This scholarship gives priority to those who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness, as well as Community-Based Organization employees.

  • The Behavioral Health Scholarship Program (BHSP)
    BHSP aims to increase the number of appropriately trained allied and advanced behavioral health professionals providing direct patient care in California. There are also scholarships available for individuals pursuing behavioral health careers in reproductive health settings.

AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION

  • The American Psychological Foundation's Program Match Tool contains a full listing of APF programs ordered by application deadline. Use the dropdowns to narrow your search based on eligibility, topic, sponsor, or program type, or search for a specific program.
