Committees A and B IRB Full Board Meeting Schedule
Research involving greater than minimal risk or research that is not eligible for expedited or exempt review requires review by the full board.
Minimal risk means that the probability and magnitude of harm or discomfort anticipated in the research are not greater in and of themselves than those ordinarily encountered in daily life or during the performance of routine physical or psychological examinations or tests. (45CFR 46.102(i)) To view the expedited review categories click here.
Carefully assess the risks involved in your research study. If you determine that the risks are greater than minimal (i.e., do not meet the definition of minimal risk), a
complete application must be received for it to be reviewed at the meeting.
